Award Dinner!

I am just doing a quick update until we have more time. We attended Trevor's award dinner on Aug 3rd. The Coast Guard Foundation held the VIP reception and dinner at the Marriott Coronado. We got to stay at the hotel for 4 nights as a VIP guest. :-)

The highlight was meeting the Commandant of the Coast Guard (head guy in charge). Admiral Papp. And Admiral Brown who is the commander of the Pacific area.

Admiral Brown and Trevor's boss Captain Nunan flew in from Hawaii. This is the reception the night before the award ceremony.













The only picture of my cute shoes! I was really excited about them but my feet were KILLING me. ;-)

    They are cute shoes. Just wear them in :) Bandaid feet before wearing.
