Snowstorm 2012 took us all by surprise. It was really cool to look out the front door and see someone skiing down the road! Seattle does not salt the roads because of the effects on Salmon and I only saw one snowplow on the highway so the roads were covered for a long time.

Vivian and Dennis came to visit at the end of January. It happened to coincide with Grandparents Day at Gavin's school so he was very excited to show them off to his class.

Groundhog day! This is Gavin's interpretation of a groundhog popping out of his hole.

First 3D movie. It was one size fits all but I couldn't believe it wasn't the old paper red and blue lens ones anymore.

Papa had a birthday while he was here.

We put the whole pack of candles on. :-)

On the weekend it was beautiful weather and we took a Ferry Ride to Bainbridge Island. They have great beaches and restaurants. Gavin loves to play in the "forts" made by people who use the driftwood on the beach.
