Parra Family Visit!

Dennis and Vivian (papa and gma) came to visit for a week. We literally did something every day while they were here. It was so much fun to sightsee in our new city.

Here is a quick picture of Gavin's School St. Benedicts
Fremont Troll. This cool art structure is under a real bridge and is holding a real VW bug. Seattle has many public art sculptures. We learned on the Duck Tour that its due to a city law requiring every project to give 1% of it's budget to public art.

Kind of random but I had to post this picture...We all kept hearing this high pitch squeaky sound and Dennis finally found this little baby squirrel that fell out of its nest. It was soooo cute. We ended up having wildlife rescue come out and get it. Trevor made it a little box because it was so cold.

Lunch at the top of the space needle. The restaurant spins one rotation an hour.
Model shoot by the huge bolts
Ballard Locks. The locks let the boats go from Lake Union out to the ocean. They also had a really cool fish ladder and flower garden.

Pike place market
The germiest place on earth....the massive chewed gum wall.
Gas works park right down the street from our house.
Going on "the duck"!
Lake Union on the duck.
